is it rude

is it rude

If I register for China and Christmas China? FH and I already have everything else we need. Really the only things I can think to register for are china, Christmas china, good silver, luggage and my toaster oven is on the verge of dying so a toaster oven...

Other than that, we don't need anything else. I just don't want people to think I'm greedy asking for 2 sets of china...

What does everyone think?

I don't think that it is rude. I would just make sure that there are all price points on your registry. So people don't feel obligagted to spend more that they can afford to.

I agree..I have been living on my own for 6 years so I have everything already but I upgraded my pots and pans and things like that. Either way, I think it is fine to register for two sets of china.

Of course right before I got engaged, I went out and bought myself a new mattress and all new bedding....you would think that FH would have said something but he's a boy and didn't think that far ahead (sigh).

My pots are great - I just got all new towels last January (love the white sales).....I really am having a hard time thinking of registry items....

Is there anything else that you have always wanted but never wanted to actually spend the money to buy? We registered for a lot of things like that which include: a clothes steamer, waffle maker, cappuccino maker, etc etc... If you really feel like you have everything you want then there is no point in just adding stuff for the sake of doing it. That would just be a waste for you guys!
