ehhhh im on the fence with that issue... your FH picked it out and gave it to you for a reason and it may upset him to do that... butttt on the other hand, he may not want you to have to live with something you just dont like anymore

not wrong at all. FH got me exactly what I had asked for. 99.999% of the time I love it but sometimes I think, hmmm maybe I'd like something different.

i am also on the fence about it. I guess it depends on the scenario, and why you want a different e-ring. Some girls ask for a ring that is alot bigger and then the whole finance issue comes up so thats a different story. If he got a setting for example that is not your style at all then yeah thats fine and different as long as the guy doesnt feel hurt by it i guess.
Would you be willing to wait though? I know with planning a wedding most people are on a strict budget and sometimes can be hard to have added expenses. Maybe upgrade on your 1 year anniversary or something.

It is not wrong to want to change your e-ring. It is up to you. I would not change mine for the world. I love my e-ring. Plus it has meaning to it so I would not want to change it at all.

Re: Is it so horribly wrong...
I picked out my ring.. FH took me shopping and I picked it out and loved it at the time.. but we didn't really look around again and he surprised me and got it for me a few weeks later when I thought it wasn't going to be for months or even a year!! Anyhow I just feel like my style has changed so much and I am not happy with it. I kinda slipped and told FH and hes not upset cause after all I DID pick it out... and he tells me if I want a new one to go for it but just keep the same diamond cause he picked that out (which of course I would).. but I just dont know if I really want to change it or not.. I feel like its still rude even if I did pick it out.
And to make matters worse I already bought a wedding band.

I don't think it's wrong at all. If I ever do end up getting a new ring though, I would just wear it on the other hand. I couldn't ever part with this ring.. he put alot of hard work in finding and picking this one out for me. I would talk to him about it...

Re: Is it so horribly wrong...
Its just a thought.. I probably wont do it or wait for an anniversary like espo said but was just wondering if it was wrong of me to want that.
