im not doing the china either... it would just sit and collect dust... i plan on having like evreyday corelles and then a more expensive set (not of china) for company which i doubt we'll ever really have...

I totally agree with that. I am not doing fine china either. My mom has it and NEVER uses it. Anyway.... I heard that a lot of people are adding like wii fits and whatnot. Why not rock band?

LOL!!!!!!! I drop things, bang into things, spill things on meeeee LOL! Yea, us too.... we arent like that couple to be sitting there at the dining room table eating on our expensive china.... we are more like the okay get the fold out tv dinner tables and lets eat and watch tv LOL!!!!! We put it on our registry- b/c we hope that we can actually use them during holidays and stuff..... if you really dont want the china then go for it!!!!! Hey, its YOUR registry and you can put anything you want on it If theres something Ive learned from planning my wedding is.... DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY- WHO CARES WHAT EVERYONE ELSE THINKS

we put all kinds of stuff from a LCD tv to a bed to furniture.......
i figure if no one gets it(whitch i dobt someone would) we can always buy it ourselves afterwards with the discount

and i don't care honestly if it's tacky or not it's my registry we are going to register for stuff we want not crap we won't use.

I went to my cousin's fiancee's shower and there was a gift of these certain Beer mugs that was totally NOT her style.....someone from her family bought them in addition to some other gifts and said ' I knew this one was specificly for Norman so we wanted to welcome him to the family by getting them for him'

I stil say go for it.....if someone doesn't like it they won't buy it and you can get it with a discount for yourself. No biggie.

Well call me tacky because we registered for a wii!

I think it is a great idea...your registry is like a wish list so put things that you actually want, not what you think you should have! I say go for it!
