to have some cupcakes around the cake? I always loved cupcakes, so I was thinking of ordering enough for all the kids... b/c a kid eating a cupcake can be cute...LOL... I don't want the layered look with cupcakes... so where else can I put them..? Or, should I just can the whole idea?

Definitely not tacky at all!!! I actually HATE wedding cake (white frosting is disgusting to me) so I think its an aweosme idea!
