Is it tacky to......

Is it tacky to......

place the favors (CD's) with the place cards? I made enough for one to a couple or one for each single person coming. I want to make sure that everyone gets what their supposed to. Would this be tacky?

I don't think it is tacky, I just wouldn't do it. I think it may get even more confusing that way.

Do you think people have enough sense that if we put the proper amount on a table for one to a couple, etc - that they would only take one per couple?

I hope it isn't tacky b/c I did something similar!!

I had wine stopper favors and they were wrapped up and the place cards were attached to them. I think it looked nice. The kids had cookies and the place cards were attached to those as well.

its definitely not tacky - but i agree it may be confusing

unless you can actually ATTACH the favor to the place card. . .people might just leave them on the place card table

people are easily confused

i don't think its tacky just make sure you attach it to the placecard, however you do favors its going to be confusing, i know people who just put favors on the table, 1 per couple, and each person in the couple tried to take one, or even in giving them out herself, each person in a couple managed to get one, i think she gave to one and her dh gave to the other,
your way might actually cause less confusion,

I don't think it is tacky...I would probably attach it to the place card... (like the other ladies had suggested)

ooo...if i remember when i get home...there is someone who did this, and they (the cd's) look so cool laid out on the table for everyone to take...i think it's fine...and usually people are smart enough to realize one per couple....i've never had a problem at anything i've went to

Oh, those were mine! The guests loved it! In fact, some are requesting additional copies so that they don't have to open the ribbon!

(Luckilly, I have about 15 extra!)

I don't think it is tacky, I just think people get confused sometimes...

Is there a way to tie your place cards on to your favors? That way if a couple is on one place card they only get one cd.

I hope it is not tacky either, i plan on doing the same. i didnt want to put them at the tables and having a couple of couples grab them like they are one per person and then a single or another couple is like where is mine? i am wrapping my favors to and putting a tag on it as the seating card and a little thank you tag...
