you know when you see a good lucking couple and you say to yourself 'their kid will be gorgeous' - well....what happens when it's not the case...
is it b/c of the parents or bad luck that the kid turned out looking not so gorgeous after all....

I think it's all genetic lottery.
like Twins...with Arnold and Danny DeVito...
one guy got all the good genes, the other got the shyt.
everyone has good genes and shyt genes, it's just how the genetic cookie crumbles.
like fug parents making gorgeous children..
maybe it's dominant vs recessive genes....

having kids is a crap shoot. I thought for SURE my son would inherit all of mine (and his dad's) bad genes... but so far he got the nicest genes of both of us
so you are saying we have doomed our kids to the life of fugly.

Genetics is harsh. When I was young and naive, I used to think it all evened out in the end (some get smarts, some get looks, some get humor), but genetics isn't that fair.
