Is it too dark for the bedroom?

I really like this bedroom set. It comes in ivory but I don't like it. I like it in black but feel like its too dark. What do you girls think? TIA

I think if you do a very light wall it should be fine.

Fh and I have all black furnature in our bedroom, it is not too dark since our walls are white.

Yeah I think it really depends on the colors of walls, light, and then just your taste really! If you like it, who cares what anyone thinks!! Not like you'll be bringing people home anymore (not implying of course that you ever did!! )

Wall white. Floor also a light color

I have black furniture with cream carpet and rich tan walls (benjamin moore brunswick beige) and my bedspread is light blues and beiges...

and it looks beautiful. I say go for it!!! dark furniture is elegant

Thanks. I love that the furniture also has silver parts. In a way I am happy with white walls but at the same time hate that I cant pain them LOL.

I just realized that walls are actually a little ivory. Since I dont live there yet, i mixed it up.

My furniture isn't black but it practically is, it's espresso and we have taupe walls and cream colored carpet. For bedding we have a set with golds, rusts, chocolate brown, basically dark earth tones and I don't think it's too dark at all.
