to call hotels to block off rooms?

Yes because the rates change every year. Most of the 08 girls are just doing them now

their rates will go up, but that is the rate that they would give me - the 2009 rate...

i just read on the 08 baords that one of them called the hotel and they said it was too early, but when she called later on all the rooms were booked, so its hard to say. i would call and then see what they say. if they say its too early, find out when the earliest you can call.

They might though...most vendors I have used ahve been able to give us 2009 pricing...give them a call...what have you got to lose

this is true! i dont have anything to lose - i dont want to lose out on the booking - there are very few hotels in the area for my RH

and if i leave it until after i take the bar i will be screwed cause that will be just 6-7 months before the wedding...
