To have an e-party? I know alot of people have them shortly after they get engaged, but is it out of the ordinary to have one in say mid-2008 somewhere around spring time even though we've been engaged for a while now? Just need some thoughts on it

I didnt really want one, we were offered by FFIL and FMIL and I was the one who said no....oops.
But since we have no clue what we're doing for our actual wedding, we might as well have some type of party.

I'm sort of fighting with that too... we got engaged in August, were all gung-ho about an engagement party and then never made real plans. Now we're trying to figure out having one this March or April.

i dont think its too late. i got engaged at the end of october and were not having our e-party till may. and since your wedding isnt till october of 2009 i say go for it!

FH and i got engaged in June and planned to have eparty in Feb for valentine's day. Were not having one anymore only b/c we have been booking vendors
