IS IT TOO LATE TO ADD ANOTHER BRIDESMAID?

I have a friend that I have been contemplating adding to the bridal party...

We are getting married in 5 months... do you honestly think it is too late to ask her???

We haven't put the dress order through yet....

I don't want her to feel like a last minute thing. The truth is I was going to ask her a few months ago but I decided not to bc I felt like we were growing apart... but lately I think different.... We work together and will most likely work together for life... (teachers)

I wanted to add one after another screwed me and backed out. But then I felt like it would seem selfish on my part. And I didn't want to make her feel like an afterthought. So I didn't bother. But, its all up to you!

I don't see why you can't ask her...just be honest...tell her you guys are growing close and you would love it if she would be part of your bridal party.

I had a similar situation. My oldest friend became preggers in May and my wedding was in Nov. We had just started talking about going dress shopping, so nothing much had been done towards the wedding, anyway.

I had thought of adding another friend to the party but was thinking, foolishly, that the #'s would be uneven. That is not a problem, but I wasn't thinking straight. I asked my other friend and explained that I'd wanted her in the party but hadn't asked b/c I thought we couldn't have uneven #'s, but then saw the light. In the end, we had an even #, anyway. Good luck w/ it! Hope she realizes you're being thoughtful.

You can always ADD bridesmaids...the problem is removing them, lol!

I don't think it's too late especially because you didn't order the dresses yet.

Just little advice: You better start moving on the dresses they take a while to come in mine too 5-6 months. JMO
