My friend is getting married in July and I can't wait to get hers. I dont think it is too late. This is NY and ppl want to plan accordingly so they can make your special day. Send them out, girl!

Not too late if you send them now. 6 months prior to is fine but don't delay otherwise it will overlap with your actual invitations.

I think it's a bit late.
You can send a reminder email that acts like a save the date when you gather addresses. That is what I did. I felt we were too close to the wedding so I didn't bother sending a STD. Instead when I emailed them for their addresses, I wrote, 'Remember to save the date: may 26, 2007'

Heck no you still have time. But you should get them out as soon as possible. You are my date twin, I already sent mine out only because Im having alot of OOT guest.

I have a second round of STD's (co-workers) that i am sending this week. Mainly so they can book hotels now and not be left with no place to stay.
