That the groom and groomsmen keep their jackets on at the wedding if they're NOT wearing vests?

I'd personally rather the guys not sweat everywhere and start to stink from sweat, but instead enjoy themselves and have a great time. Pictures will be more fun during the dancing!

Exactly this. I think it would be kinda mean to ask them not to take their jackets off. It's gets SUPER hot on a packed dance floor! And you don't want your guys to sit the whole night because they are overheating!!

Re: Is it too much to ask?
I think its bizarre to even think anyone SHOULD keep it on the entire time. Unless you are super formal with minimal dancing and activity then I guess,.. if you are having a DJ it doesn't make sense to me, sorry. I would let your FH handle this aspect.

If it were me, I would never put this burden on anyone. Especially people in the BP that are supposed to be treated like your special guests.
No one wants to be at a boring, stuffy, wedding where everyone is prim and proper the whole time.
I would def agree that they should be wearing their jackets during pics and obv the ceremony, but once the party begins, everyone should have an opportunity to let their hair down!
They'll have more fun and enjoy the party much more if they're comfortable and not sticky and sweaty...
I don't even expect FH to keep his jacket on once the party gets going!

Re: Is it too much to ask?
im going to have a hard enough time getting FH to not wear his reefs at the alter, let alone keep a tuxedo jacket on all night!
all the other guests will have their coats off dancing, and if all the pro pics are done, there is not an issue w them relxing ... helll Ill prob want to take my darn dress off by the time the dancing starts!
