Is it weird....

if I dont have my MOH's wear different dresses than the BM's???

I found a dress I really really like and I want all of them in it......

Absolutely not!! I was MOH in my bf's wedding, and I wore the same dress...no biggie., if anything, get the MOH a bigger bouquet.

2010 bride here-

i personally don't like when the MOH has the same dress on. i am using the same dresses but my MOH will have it in blue with a brown sash & everyone else will have it in brown with a blue sash. i feel the MOH should stand out during the entire wedding. she is extremely important to the wedding. as far as all the planning & getting ready for the day. plus she will be signing as witness to the marriage & will eventually be my childs godmother so i think everyone should be aware of who she is. just my opinions.

Its your wedding and your choice to make, the MOH does not have to wear a different dress, she can wear the same dress, its all up to you

absolutely not. it's a personal preference! My MOH wore the same dress...i just had her bo-k different.. i also had all the bm's walk down with a gm....but the best man was with my hubby at the end of the aisle, and my MOH walked down by herself that alone separated her from the rest

thats exactly what I was thinking of doing.....

MOH's (i have my 2 sisters) will walk down together or each alone (not sure yet) with different bo-k's then the BM's. Then all the BM's will walk with a groomsmen =)

No, that's usually the case. Most of the weddings I've been to they all have the same dress. You can make her stand out with a different bouquet.

for my sisters wedding, I was the MOH and wore the same dress as the BMs. The only difference is that I wore those pretty long gloves with mine and that's how i stood out.

For MY wedding, my sister (the MOH) also wore the same dress as my other BMs, but she had a white sash around the waist in order to help her stand out.

So you could do something like that. Just something small to help her stand out from the other BMs.

If you do all the same dresses, I'd just get the MOH a bigger/different bo-k. Otherwise, she doesn't stand out at all, which is ok, too. It's totally up to you.

I dont think its weird at all. As long as your MOH doesnt mind...I know mine wants to 'stand out' in some way.

I think that it is up to you.

You can def. have them all wear the same dress.
If you want your bridesmaid to stand out just have her wear a different necklace, different bok, or have her wear same dress different color( or just different sash color).
