to not have a flower girl. im thinking about asking my neighbor's daughter (well the mom) but i dont know if its too much to ask. we just bought a house and is a total sweetheart and has given us a lot. and we do know them for years. but is it weird to not have a flower girl.

I don't think it's weird to not have one, I am sure there are lots of brdies who do not have one. But my personal opinion - I feel the wedding party is not complete unless you have a flower girl. If you have known the family for years then I say ask.

I wanted to have my FH's niece and nephew as the flower girl and ring bearer but his sister and her husband (who are also both in the wedding) thought it would be too much for them bc they live in Rochester. She thought it would be easier for her in-laws to stay at her house with them. So we won't be having them. I have been to weddings with and without. If it works, great but I wouldn't force it.

No, it's not weird. We aren't having one. And honestly, unless they are older (6-8), they just kinda freak out come time to walk down the aisle.... from what I've seen hahaha

Definitely not. I was just asking about using cousins as a junior bridesmaid and groosman and honestly it's more work and I don't even want it. It's really cute to have a flower girl but only if there's one you are close to I think.

we're not having a ring bearer or a flower girl because we really don't have anyone that young in our families and I personally didnt want to choose someone random or someone we didn't know very well to be a part of the wedding

I don't think it's strange. I've been to many weddings without a flowergirl or ring bearer. It's whatever you want.
