Is it weird that

when people tell me they are staying over I mention that there won't be a shuttle, so keep in mind they'll have to get a cab and that it'll be about $10-12 each way?

I just told that to someone, and as I was saying it, I thought it looked weird.

I would just leave it out, they are adults and can find their way back to the hotel, but no its not weird you are just trying to give them a heads up.
