it may be cheaper money wise to make them yourself, while it wont take as much time to have htem made.
I have seen some like that for 4-6 per invite, so you could be looking at 400-600 for invites. If you purchase the pocketfolds you can get them for 1.25, so 125 for the folders, then the card stock is pretty cheap. So I dont know.
I intend to make my own as a personal preference, because I dont want to spend 1k on invites that will probably be thrown out. So to me, its worth it.

We made our own invitations, but it was a lot of work! Saved money, but don't know if it was worth all the work in the end.

Personally DH and I thought it was completely worth it to make our own invites... it allowed us to create precisely what we wanted for a fraction of the cost. We also were able to tie-in elements (like fonts, graphics etc) into our other DIYs

I actually did my own invites for our engagement party and they came out nicer that so many wedding invites. Now i cant find a wedding invite to top the engagement invite. Who would have thought that would happen?? I liked doing my own because i was able to customize them just the way we wanted.

there's a listing on ebay where the pocketfold invitations look just like the ones on mygatsby.com -- for half the price! (I don't have the ebay seller info saved in favorites anymore )
