ABSOFREAKIN' LUTELY!!!! they get a whole 'nother persepective of shots. If you're going for more traditional posed photos then don't bother, BUT if u're going for a candid photojournalistic style then without a doubt yes. u'll be so happy u did!

I polled 'yes', but I forgot to ask how big your wedding is. If it's 75 people, then probably not. If it's more than that, yes.

Did you book with the photographer already? If you really want it, maybe you can find one that has an assistant. Or you could negotiate with that one to be cheaper or instead of an extra album, etc. The only time that it may be important is when you are saying your vows so that they can get both of your faces.
I know a lot of people who only had one - and they lived! Don't stress!

If you can afford it, then definitely. He can get the candid shots that photographer #1 might've missed while he was taking pics of you.

if you can afford it without any issues--then you can go for it.

I agree, if you have the extra cash to do it, I say yes. It can't hurt, but do I think it's worth it? No. The pictures may not be professional, but your guests will be taking pictures that your professional photographer misses. I'm sure your FMIL will take pictures of the groomsmen getting ready at the house. Or, if you are having a videographer, make sure to tell him/her to focus on the things that the photographer misses.
