Is it wrong not to want to have my make up done or get waxed? I dont want to spend the money to do those. I want to do my make up but I thought either my sister could do it or I could do it myself. I mean I am getting my hair done but I think I am going to do that with my hairdresser at Lemon Tree. I just dont see the need for all of these extra expenses.

Of course not, in fact I was considering it myself. I mean doing getting your make up and hair professional done cost $$$$$...if you can do it yourself..so be it.

i routinely get my eyebrows waxed, cause if not people would mistake me for a werewolf. otherwise, i wax no other parts of my body....nair and my venus razor are enough. lol

I dont wear to much makeup. Dont want much more than some eye make up and some lip stick. My hair on the other hand I plan on getting it done that morning.
It's your day and you can do whatever it is that you'd like

ditto on the waxing! trust me if i could do my own make up i would - sometimes i can but i have off days where it doesnt come out right thats why i am getting it done
definitely do what you can afford and what you want!
to this day the most beautiful bride in the world was my sister, and she just threw some eye shadow on!

Girl, IT'S YOUR WEDDING DAY. You can do what ever you choose. For some it's just a matter of not having to worry about that come the day of. But ultimately I think it's your choice.
Let your gut feelings lead the way.....

It's definately your choice. If you feel comfortable doing your own makeup and knowing that it'll look perfect in the pics and video, then by all means, do not spend the extra $$$. However, if it's a concern, then try to get the best bids for the makeup. You do want to look radiant on your special day.
