Is it wrong that I feel this way?

Is it wrong that I feel this way?

I have 2 friends that I've been friendly with over the last 5 yrs or so. They're huge I mean huge Clay Aiken fans. They travel to where here's performing. My fh asks me do you think they'll come to the wedding. I say I hope so. Is it wrong from me to be a little disappointed/upset if they don't come to the wedding. I know coming to a wedding where you have to pay for a hotel and flight is a lot of expensive. I feel if they could do it for someone they never met, they could do it for me.

I hope I don't sound selfish that I would want them at my special day

your right gail, you would hope that they would come to your wedding, especially when they travel for concerts. however people are strange so you cannot predict anything. just hope they do the right thing. :)

It's so not wrong to feel that way - I would feel exactly like you do. If they can spend the time and money to go to a concert - then they should be willing to do the same for the biggest day in their friend's life! If they had a legit reason that they couldn't come, I would understand. But if not, then I would be hurt if they werent there....I really hope that they are able to come

i would be hurt myself if that was the case. they can follow clay around then they can certainly show up for their good friend's wedding!

If they can follow some random guy they've never met all over the country to watch him sing, they should NOT have any excuse for not attending your wedding.

neenie...i agree with u 100% one of the girls watched the show with her mom before she passes away and they're clay fans. i understand the attachment but come on. i'm 33 and they're older than me. i wouldn't even do that.

thanks for your support girls

I don't think that is selfish in the slightest. You may be surprised by them. I am shocked that all my friends from CA are coming- even one who just bought a house by herself.
