My MOH sent me one of those stupid chain emails. But the start of it is these 'cases' of people who didn't forward the email. Case #1: a girl gets engaged, gets the email the same day and deletes it, then finds out her fiance is dead. Case #2: pretty much the same--someone gets the email and dies. Anyway, the rest of the email is some poem about remembering your friends and being kind to them because they could die tomorrow.
Is it wrong of me to be a little miffed that she'd send me an email that implies that if I don't send it, something is going to happen to me or a loved one? She's been on my sh!t list for a few weeks anyway, so that may have something to do with my annoyance ;)
I should add that my dad is deceased and my mother was in a really bad car accident a few years ago--both of which she knows.

It doesn't sound like she did it maliciously, just that she's REALLY insensitive. I don't blame you for being annoyed!

Especially given your personal history -- which your MOH is aware of -- I don't blame you for being annoyed about this stupid chain letter. Heck, I get annoyed at chain letters even when they don't have offensive/upsetting stuff in them! I'd just ignore the message. Often, people forward those things without thinking about it or even reading them.

I get pi$$ed when any of my friends sends me crappy chain emails like that. I wouldn't take the content personally.

I would be slightly annoyed..I get those chain things all the time and sometimes i'm afraid if I dont send them karma will bite me in the arse...people dont think sometimes and just send stuff out blindly...

Half the people I know forward these e-mails without reading them fully. Its ****** for ANYONE to forward these e-mails. The fact that it your wedding is coming, and you have already had some tragedies in your life (I can relate) just shows that she is being insensitive and selfish- but then again, IMO - that is also shown by forwarding a chain email. I wouldn't take it too much to heart.

I hate chain emails with a PASSION. I don't understand how people can forward cr*p like that. I get on my aunt's case all the time and I always find on the net that whatever it is, is a hoax and tell her that. she then gets mad at ME for telling her! OK so I should believe that if I say the Our Father, 10 times backwards, Bill Gates is going to send me a new computer? Suuuure.
And I think it was very insensitive of your friend to e-mail you that. I would not say anything though - alot of times people don't read half of what they send.

I would hope she didnt do it personally to annyoy you..sometiems people just click email addresses and forward it without thinking. SO just take it as that and move on. But if you get anymore 'coincidences' definitel talk to her.
ETA: you can get pissed, I do sometimes and people dont understand..and even if they dont..no one can take away how a person was affected..but when confronted with it..a caring person would apologise.

All of those chain mails were started by some loser with way too much time on their hands! Don't let it bother you that your MOH is superstitous..but you don't have to be. Tell her you don't want to be on her chain mail list!!

That is the most moronic email chain letter I ever heard of. It's gross and totally insensitive.

i hate those stupid chain emails that say that jesus will not love me if i don't send to 7 people in 7 minutes or the ones like u just described. iwould tell her not to include you in on any stupid *** chain emails. there are people i never speak to; all i get are stupid *** emails, its very irritating.

I might sound like real Biatch and I don't mean too... But I get those stupid Emails all the time and I don't even read the whole thing I just hit delete. I really doubt that she sent it to you to hurt u. She probably didn't think of it. When I was younger I use to send them to my Cousin and my uncle died. I didnt think twice about it. I wouldnt be annoyed. Just DELETE!

I HATE chain e-mails! Theyre's so annoying! I konw tyhey're BS, but at the same time, i keep thinking, ... somting bad will happen.... which is BS... but YES, I would be annoyed!
