I had only a handfull of stuff taken off of my registry and I got a LOT of stuff, and things that were on my registry as well....

You'd be surprised what you're in store for!!

And its ok to be sad!

Don't worry... you are still going to be overwhelmed by everyone's generousity... I know I was even though I didn't get nearly everything off my registries.

I know how you feel. I didn't have a wishing well or anything. I had about 20 people at my shower and everyone practically bought me one item. It was depressing.

At least people are still buying me stuff off of my registry for my B-day and other holidays.

Wow! I have NEVER known anyone who got EVERYTHING off of their registry.

One of my cousin's registered at Macy's. Her mom works at Macys, and let everyone use her employee discount and she still had a bunch of stuff left.

I know that for my shower, my mom, aunt, and 2 cousins went shopping the night before.

Edited to add, a LOT of people give cash these days. So, you're probably going to get a hefty sum of cash.

Don't be said!

I know it's a little pitiful, but I have been one of those people who waits till the last minute to get shower gifts. Almost everyone I know registered at Fortunoff, and I live in Queens, so getting out there isn't always easy.

That's my situation too... my shower is next week and a lot of things remain on my registry. No one even went to Crate and Barrel which had all of my favortie things!
