Well its not my dream wedding cuz we don't have the money for that. But I have to say I am very happy with everything and its a close second.

Yeah i have to ditto what everyone else is pretty much saying. I mean. of course the BEST and ULTIMATE thing about my wedding is marrying my amazing FI Matt. That is a DREAM!!! But as for everything else, i am def. happy and totally excited for the day. But if I were RICH, oh no....it would be a grand affair in Manhattan like ive always dreamed....and dream I will :)

Re: Is it your 'dream wedding'?
My wedding planning is turning out great!! I also never had the 'dream wedding in my mind' and after I got engaged, I started envisioning what it would be like. I have to say that it is turning out completely different then what I first thought, but for the better!! So many options I didn't know were out there... But as others have mentioned...If $$ were no object, my wedding would be a little bit different.

Re: Is it your 'dream wedding'?
like some girls, I never really dreamt about my wedding. even being with FH for over 10 years, I wondered at times if we would, but I never put much thought into how I wanted it to be (I still can't picture it that well! )
more than thinking about our wedding (one day) I dream about what our LIFE will be...but so far I think the wedding is going well. I don't think I would spend much more even if I had it (but I would love more money for a )
I guess that is my dream...that we will be able to do both!

It actually is my dream wedding. I think the only thing I would change is location. I would have it on a beach in Hawaii but I would keep all the vendors I have.

Re: Is it your 'dream wedding'?
Considering I've found the man of my dreams I'll say yes!! However, due to $$$ we couldn't afford the RH we really wanted. Also, I always thought I'd be getting married in a church but since we can't I think our ceremony outside will be beatiful! Honestly, I didn't think I would fall in love with someone who is so much older than me and who is divorced with a daughter, but looking at what really matters in life I can say that our wedding will make my dreams come true!!!

Re: Is it your 'dream wedding'?
I have to honestly say that so far I have been surprising myself as far as what I thought I wanted and what I actually am having...I don't care about certain things...
like the cake cutter, or the unity candle or the guest sign book, or having flowers for centerpieces...no one remembers half of these things...for example I always thought I would have this beautiful custom cake...I wouldn't even think about not having the one the hall provides...so what it doesn't look like any of the ones I love...no one is going to see the cake...I don't even remember what the cake looked like at the last wedding we went to...
I think I'm just realizing that its one day...there is no point to spend soo much money on it...I love everything that I've done so far but I kept it modest and I'm happy about it...

Re: Is it your 'dream wedding'?
I have to say that so far this is the wedding of my dreams, I am marrying my best friend, and as far as vendors and halls go, I am fortunate that I got the hall I wanted with all the extras I wanted too, i got the band i wanted, and i got a gorgeous gown that i wanted...
the only part that is not so much dream wedding like is the fact that I am a bit stressed planning out of state and some of the loved ones i want at my wedding wont be there..especially my grandma

Re: Is it your 'dream wedding'?
Yes, it is. From the place, to the band, to my dress, etc. I could have saved a lot of money and not had my dream wedding, but we figure we're only doing it once and I don't want to look back with any regrets.
