Is my budget for a DJ not reasonable?- ***UPDATE!!
I know it may seem unlikely...but did any one book or get quoted $900 (or less?!?) for a 2 man dj package (dj and mc...not the combo)?
UPDATE: I found a 2 man package for $950! Getting closer! FM for details!

That is low, but I know I've seen some in that area, like FM Entertainment for a base package.

We did it for 1000 without ceremony and cocktail hour (we have live musicians for that) and with taking out the light show. With putting lights back in recently though it was an extra $100.

Your best bet would probably be FM Entertainment... but I think their 2 man package starts at about $1100.. or it might be less if you get the bare minimum hours, lights, etc.

I am using After Hours and I am paying $900 but this is for the basic packaged, one DJ no MC. However not sure if adding one MC is that much more you should def email and ask.
Crystal Clear DJs. I have not decided if I definately will use him,but his rates are great.

Try Vinny from High Voltage. His one man package starts at (I believe) $875. I think his two man packages start at $1000?
I think you might have a hard time finding two people for $900, but I definitely don't think that (maybe with a little negotiating) it's impossible.

They are $895 for a one man dj/mc combo $1100 for a 2 man team.
Depending on the size of your wedding, you may only need one person. We are having around 100 people and are not doing any crowd participation dances so we were told by FM that we only need one person.

You can get a one man team for around that price. Try Candlelight Entertainment, a 2 man team is around $950 I think: www.getonyourfeet.com
