I'm having issues choosing colors for my fall wedding and my fave color is green but I can't find the perfect green for my bm dresses that is fallish enough. Anyway I was thinking of changing colors and he's like no purple or blue. He doesn't like those colors and we can't have real flowers on our cake bc it skeeves him. But he doesn't want to be involved much in the planning?! ***.

Don't you love when they say they don't want to be involved, but then they have a whole lot to say about our ideas?? My suggestion would be to ask him his opinion every 5 minutes until he gets annoyed and tells you to do whatever you want to do...

Lol. . . i wish I could say yes he's weird - but my FH is the same - we actually call him groomzilla - he wants to be involved in everything and is giving me a hard time about everything - I tell him to do things for me and he will but then I don't get what I want - so as awesome of an idea it is to ask him what he wants every 5 mins - it won't work for me. I just make something ridiculous up and tell him he needs to see a shrink. Or I lie and tell him things are done and can't be changed. - they are incredible!

LoL. My FH is constantly annoying me about our colors, because he is sick of the pink. He just needs to get over it haha.
Anyways... I was having a similar dilemna re: colors. I was going to use a deep red/merlot because it was 'fally' but then I thought about it and realized that I HATE red and shouldn't just pick colors because the season. So I went with my favorite colors. I think you should go with whatever green you want, regardless of if it fits into the Fall season. Maybe you can use an accent color for your color scheme that is more 'fally' like a bronze or copper.

LOL...it does seem that the FHs will say whatever you want or not want to have a say...but all of a sudden, they have no problem saying 'no, no, no.' Don't worry, just keep asking and you'll eventually get an 'I don't care,' then start moving on what you want to do!

what we did is my FH picked a color and I picked a color - and they actually go very nice together.What about a sage green? That might work.
Bring him to Home deopt to see all the colors and then maybe he will like the purples or blues there are soooo many to choose from and I don't know about your FH but mine LOVES home deopt- if he likes it there he will be in a better mood and maybe pick a color that you will love):
