So we have an appointment on the 1st to book our place(woo hoo!!) but i am thinking about the price we were quoted...its 95 a head and after taxes comes out to about 124 a person...

the woman wont throw anything in for us...She said she would take it down from $3 to $2..
Im not very good at negotiating and this woman is sort of a b*tch when it comes to money it seems...

JMO - I see its a Sunday evening, I think its a little high, however it is a prime date and still considered off season. If that is the original price she gave you, I would definitely try to negotiate down. You can use the line when you are there 'Listen, I will leave my deposit today if you give me $90pp'
The menu seems pretty standard. I do like the viennese table, thats a nice extra. But the cocktail hour looks like it might need an extra. For example, I have 5 different stations alone. I know you mentioned the mashed potato bar, $2pp is a good price.

It does seem slightly high- however since it is a holiday weekend, they will jack of the price to one that is comparable to that of a aat. night. Nevertheless, I think you should try to negoiate!
Also, I think $2pp for the mashed potato bar is reasonable.

Are there any other extras added into that amount? Honestly, it seems about right to me, especially because you're looking at a 10/10 date (and even though its on a Sunday, its probably considered a 'Saturday' because of the 3 day weekend)

there is a vienesse (sp?) during the last hour of the party included, as well as a HUGE seafood boat...alot of the 'extras' come in this package we picked...

that makes a big difference then... if we get the seafood boat its an extra 10 pp.. sounds right i guess.. and monday is a holiday too. i guess its on target..

i agree that it sounds about right, since its a very popular date, holiday weekend, plus you're getting the viennese & shrimp boat... but try to negotiate whatever down that you can!

i am going to look there in two weeks. the price after tax is the price per person i have been receiving from a lot of places before tax. so i definitely think that is a good price.
