Is September 14th too late....

...to wear a summery dress (a print that is a variety of blues, hints of pinks etc.) with a pair of open toe silver sexy heels?

I'm wearing it to a wedding at the end of August...but that Labor Day rule has me concerned it will be 'too summery' for 2 weeks later!

I think it will be fine. With the way weather is these days, I don't think the Labor day rule really applies anymore. It was about 80 degrees on our wedding day & that was 9/21.

I think you'll be fine...it should still be warm at that time. Don't pay attention to the Labor Day rule...

oh christine - I am getting married on 9/21 and I am praying for good weather - 80 degrees would be a bonus!!

PS_ you can definitely wear those shoes in September!

It is summer until the autumnal equinox - this year fall begins on 9/23.

Personally, I think that Labor Day & Mem Day rules are bogus & so outdated.

I thought the Labor day rule only pertained to wearing white shoes? Anyway, September 14th is still technically summer (doesn't end until the 21st) so I think it's absolutely fine to wear a summery dress.
