Is there a dr or nurse in the house?

So I had surgery 2 weeks ago - my wound is barely healed and is bright red - the redness is starting to move away from my wound.

The doctor saw it and said 'it's okay' but now that the redness is raditing out, I'm really worried that its infected.

How do I know if its infected? I have another appt with dr on Thursday to take out last stitches...

Are you running a fever? Does it feel hot to the touch?

I dont have a fever, its not hot to the touch..

I had a cyst removed in my breast/underarm area.. the incision is basically right in my underarm crease. It's a really bad area due to the fact that it usually covered with my arm being in the usual position, etc.

There is a bit of wetness.. its not oozing per say, but I do dab it everyonce in a while - but who knows maybe its sweat..

I would call the doctor , he might tell u after you tell him the details not to worry or to see him asap. Feel better, and keep us posted.

Thanks - doubtful he is there. A surgeon working on a weekend! They barely work during the week
