Call Rabbi Judy Cohen-Rosenberg from Community Reform Temple in Westbury. I went to that temple growing up and she's a great person. Very nice and easy to get along with. I'm not sure what her phone number is but you can call information. If you have any questions please ask.

Hi! We are using Rabbi Richard Berman from Temple Judea in Manhasset(it's my fiance's temple). He is great and so personalbe. Here is a suggestion... Go to Friday night services at some Temples. That way you can see if you like the personality of the Rabbi and if you do you can contact the temple. Here are some Reform Temples in Nassau.
Temple Emanuel of Great Neck Temple Israel of Great Neck Temple Sinai of Roslyn Temple Sinai of Cedarhurst Temple Judea of Manhasset Temple Emanuel of Lynbrook Temple Israel of Great Neck Temple Beth Shalom of Roslyn
There are so many more, just look them up in the phone book, there is a synagogue/church section.
Good Luck!!

I used Rabbi Lowenheim #631-698-1172 for my wedding last summer - he's great! Very open to working with interfaith couples - he's a reform Rabbi. Over half of the couples attending Pre Cana with us were using him. Please feel free to ask any other questions about him.

I Wish I could metphan. My Fiance's family is from another country, and are very old-school. His father does not approve of a female rabbi (we looked into one already). I don't agree with him and neither does my FH, but his chauvanistic father has made it very clear that he would not be happy with a woman rabbi. I would personally like to tell him where to go, but why bother, I'll never change his opinion, and its not worth the fight.
Anyway.... I need a male rabbi. Any other suggestions?

I got to Rabbi Judi from the workmans circle in East Meadow, if you call them they might be able to help you. I tried Rabbi Applestone from Chateau Briand and he was a !@#$% excuse the french, he bascially blew me off and said that he knows we are going to take him so when it is convient for him he will get back to us! Well, I told Chateau Briand and they were furious! Just call the Wormans circle and tell them you are looking for a male reformed rabbi , and they might be able to help you. Also, try going to Rabbi Judi's services on a Friday night, they are going to be getting a new man cantor and they can marry you also. Good luck!!
