Is there a lot of pressure during m/u & hair trials?

Is there a lot of pressure during m/u & hair trials?

I want to book Maureen & Claudia Pedala and a few others for hair and makeup trials, but I am concerned about feeling pressure to book, especially when they are free.

for those that have had trials with these girls and others, what has your experience been, especially when you opted NOT to book someone that gave you a FREE trial.

Thanks!

I know exactly what you mean, I'm afraid that I will like them so much that I will book them inmediately. I actually don't mind paying the fee for maureen but for hair, that's a little bit too much for me.

Hey, I used Maureen Pedala, and she didn't pressure at all to book on the spot. Neither did anyone else I did trials with, free or paid. You shouldn't feel pressured to decide then and there. Just tell them you will let them know when you decide. I didn't decide on Maureen until a month after my trial.

Maureen and Claudia are great - they did not pressure at all! I was not completely happy with my hair trial and Claudia was willing to have another trial for me -

I booked them a few days later because i just loved how they were so willing to work with what i wanted. They actually listened to what i wanted and not what they thought i would want.

Go for a trial!

Can I ask who are these people?
I am looking for someone to come to the house and do both hair and make-up. Were are they located? Are they willing to travel?
Thank you for any info

Same here. I went to a TON of makeup trials and it definitely varied -- people who weren't as well known for doing makeup (like people who worked out of salons -- doing makeup, not hair) seemed to be more high pressure, at least from my experience.

Maureen and Claudia didn't pressure me at all. they are located in NYC but will travel. It's cheaper if you have your makeup done in their studio though, but who wants to go out for makeup and hair on their wedding day

The website is www.nyweddingmakeup.com

no pressure for me at all!

I told Jillian before and after my makeup trial that I wanted to make sure it lasted all day. I booked her the next day. she is WONDERFUL!

I met with them and they are the nicest people you will ever meet. No pressure whatsoever!!

I went to Jacqueline Nicole for make-up and Taralei for hair. I felt no pressure from either of them, but I LOVED my make-up and hair. So, I booked them on the spot.
