Wedding is 4/29 - when would you suggest the RSVP date be?

I don't think there's a general rule. My date is 9/18, we're going to have the rsvp date for 8/1

WE really ARE twins!
Im going through the same thing right now..what RSVP date to pick. I wanted more then a month to do seating arrangements and place cards. I think I'm going for like 7 weeks..maybe 6.

Often it depends on when you have to have your minimum number at your hall by. That tends to be out three week to four weeks prior to the event. Many people have an earlier rsvp date if they want to do an 'a' list and 'b' list. The 'a' list including everyone you have to invite--including out of town family and obligatory invitations, and a 'b' list to cover the people you wanted to invite but couldn't because of the obligatory people you had on your 'a' list who then rsvp that they can't come.

I would say March 29, a month before.. because then people may actually get it to you before your wedding day
