is there a thred

that compares velvet and patken? i just called both to make appointments for next saturday. velvet was so much nicer on the phone. anyother tips i should know or have in mind when i go? what kinds of questions do i ask? do i try and negotiate?

always try to negotiate..i got almost $1,000 taken off my package at patken..the #1 thing i would do to cut down the price is parent albums..unless your parents are paying for your photo..all photogs will keep the negitives for some time and if your parents really want one..they can get it themselves cause its almost $300 for albums..

how do you negotiate the price?? I am so bad with this-- FH and I are booking our RH and photo/video this June and I am trying to figure out how we can negotiate if we love a place and they are to much

i just asked him what they can do for us. if it was too high i asked what they can throw in to make up for the high price. and i also tried the ' well we were only looking to spend $$ on a hall. can you work with us?'

I booked with Velvet and at first I just let him tell me the package and the price. Afterwards I told him what my budget was and he just took a couple of things out of the package and it went down $1,000!!!!!
