Re: is there any housework
I'm OCD about all housework so I just do it all. He can take care of mowing the lawn and all the heavy lifting and fixing stuff.

I dont feel too comfortable about him doing the house work, it always end up half finished, and him staring into the tv cause the baseball game is on.

Re: is there any housework
I have a feeling I will be doing most things b/c I am waaay too OCD to let the dishes sit in the sink for a long period of time, for example! FH will do chores (he lived on his own so he does everything) but at HIS leisure... my OCD isn't gonna be okay with that

I don't let him clean the utencils. When he puts them in the dishwasher they come out with food still stuck to them, when he does them by hand they're usually only clean on the front but not the back side. We have really shiny new utencils and instead of seeing them get spotty or scratched, I just wash them by hand myself.

I love when he helps with anything, except the dishes. I don't think he loads the dishwasher properly, and so some dishes don't get washed.

Re: is there any housework
Actually, we have the exact opposite....I have a tendency to break things when cleaning... I'm a little rough to say the least. In the last year I managed to: kill a 1 year old vacuum (overheated...I think, don't know why) , I broke my glass table (with the vacuum), I broke 1 plate (everyday setting), 1 Coffee pot, 1 bowl (everyday setting), 1 glass (crystal ) while washing the dishes - all on different occasions, I broke my TV stand door in half (trying to put it together....) so it has no doors now ....I said it was 'extra' LOL, & just last week - I killed my frig (being impatient) I used a knife & a hammer to break off a piece of ice (I didn't feel like manual defrosting it)...& yes, I accidentally stabbed the coolant box....I'm what you call 'Domestically Challenged'

Wash the floor. He did it ONCE as a surprise and oh god, the poor thing. I had to wait for him to leave so I could do it over. It was all cloudy and streaked and smeared.
Still the fact that he tried was sweet.

Sometimes I wonder if they f*ck shlt up or make mountains out of molehills for the sole purpose of never being asked to do it again
(My FH is an awesome laundry bltch by the way!)

Re: is there any housework
I'll be happy if FH wants to be the dishwasher, lawn cutter, garbage-thrower-outer, fixer-upper and mopper. I love cleaning and couldn't give him tasks like the bathroom, vacuuming or dusting...those are for me! lol

I don't let him do laundry or none of my clothess would fit. I've taught him how to do everything else properly!
