I went to see the Royalton and fell in love...until they told me the price! I am trying to find an alternative that will make me just as happy, but it's tough as I am looking at Saturdays in September or October. Does anyone have any suggestions? The Inn at New Hyde Park was a great option but was totally booked.

Is there anything like the Royalton?
I booked at the Royalton on a Friday. The price difference for a Friday makes a huge difference. I've never been, but people recommended the North Ritz Club. The Woodlands is mansion style and less expensive than the Royalton. That was my runner up but totally booked on all Saturdays in 2013 except in November, but that was 2 months ago when I looked. DeSeversky is less expensive on a Friday as well. Good luck!!

Let me know if you find anything, the same thing happened to us. I looked at the Inn at New Hyde Park also but could not provide the minimum required for a Sat night. Try Giorgio' s and some of the Lessing's properties. Good luck!

Thanks so much. I couldn't reach the North Ritz Club minimum which was 200 for a Saturday. If I do a Friday I will definitely go back to the Royalton.
I will look at Lessings and Giorgio's might be a bit far though. Next on my list is Jericho Terrace and Village Club at Lake Success. After that I am running out of options.

Maybe check out Coindre Hall. The woodlands is nice, that was a close runner up for us and one of the cheaper mansions (no site fee). I've heard good things about Bourne and deservsky too, although I think there both on the pricey side.
