Is there anything that your FH's are insisting on having at the wedding???

My FH insists on the Chocolate Fountain. Seriously.. its like he is amazed, and can stare at it for hours & drool

Mine wanted a guy dress in a gimp costume to carry the rings. I told him HELL NO!

Mine didn't 'insist' on the Chocolate Fountain but it was the only thing that caught his interest when talking about the reception hall!!!!

Your hall is on Martha Stewart Apprentice this week (and last). It is SO pretty!

My FH isn't insisting on anything. He chose the cake though.

My FH has a tradition with all of his friends. At every wedding, they all stand in a circle and sing 'American Pie' by Don McClean as they add their own personal touches to the song. I LOATHE that song. I really HATE it. I am one for tradition but we are not paying a band for a 7 minute song. I told him to find another tradition that will make people happy. Trust me, there were PLENTY of things I backed down on in this wedding planning process. I will NOT back down on this one.

HA! FH insisted on having the big NY wedding!!! I wanted a destination wedding....now he's on my side but it's too late!! It'll still be pretty tho and I am getting excited at some of the planning things but ARGH!

he insists on having pigs in blanket..he says its for the kids but i know he's dying to have them

He wanted the ice luge.

He wanted the best man to do a forward roll when he was introduced (done, and I cannot wait to see the video).

He wanted specific cocktail stations.

He TOTALLY wanted the video!

And he wanted to invite the whole world!!!!!!

Pigs in a blanket during the cocktail hour (he loves those), and a cooler full of 'drinks' while we are taking pictures.

My FH and his friends have a crazy tradition too. The make a human pyramid at the end of every reception. Can you believe that? A human period made up of grown men. I'm a good sport, so I'm all for it - afterall it is his wedding too. I just want to be at the top of the pyramid.

My FH insisted that we didnt do the BoK and Garter toss. He hates that. He also wanted to be sure that everyone got seconds during dinner without asking

Yes, he wants an hour and half cocktail and seperate salad and appetizer...not the combo.

Mine didn't 'insist' on anything, but he really wanted:

1) Extended CH (if it could be all CH, that would thrill him)

2) More Casual attire (no tuxes, just tan dress pants, white button down and nice flip flops) since it is a day wedding on the beach

3) On the beach wedding with outdoor CH (hopefully Mother Nature allows!)

He would love the chocolate fountain, but he would rather put that $$$ towards furniture or something (so pragmatic) so no chocolate fountain for us!
