Is there anywhere to take pics from West Hempstead to St. James?
Our ceremony is at 3 pm in West Hempstead and our reception is at &pm in St. James. Is there any place on the way to take pics or should we just go straight out to Flowerfield? TIA

There is that little pond on Hempstead Ave/Nassau Blvd

I would go straight to Flowerfield - that is what we did.
However, I'd have a backup plan just in case of traffic/time constraint.

the vanderbilt museum in centerport northport docks the griss mill in setauket ( a little east of flowerfield but by 5 minutes)

Northport docks, and Centerport...I also hear the grounds at Flowerfield are gorgeous, so maybe just go there. I was going to do my pics @ Northport docks, however, Watermill IMO had much more beautiful grounds!

You have so much time in between - so you have lots of choices I think. What about Old Westbury Gardens? Planting Fields Arboretum? The park in Garden city near the G.C. hotel?
