I haven't seen the past few games (I don't live in New York so I rarely get the Yankees games on TV, unfortunately) but I noticed the two blown saves in the paper. Is there anything wrong with Mariano or is it just rotten luck and/or a few shaky performances?

I don't think there is anything wrong with him. In his whole career (almost 10 years), there has only been 5 times where he had back to back blown saves. He is still the best closer in the majors.

He goes through this every season. He gets tired and blows a couple of saves. Nothing to be concerned about.

You're both right. With all of the pitching injuries we've had lately, I couldn't help but be concerned!
