Is there such a place?????????????

Hi Everyone,
My FH and I finally went to a few RHs yesterday in Montauk/Hamptons. Nothing worked out for us. They were really great on the outside, but mediocre on the inside. I have three questions that I was really hoping you could answer:

1. Is there any facility's on Long Island that is beautiful inside and out on the beach? We want to feel like we are getting married on vacation. A hotel near it would even be better.

2. IS there any castle themed places that have a water landscape?

3. Does anyone know of luxury hotels on Long Island? (I'm familiar with Garden City Hotel and East Wind). Are there any others?

Thanks so much.

Where did you already look at?
Atlantica and Gurney's Inn? I've never seen either of them.

Did you try Crescent Beach Club? I hear it is gorgeous there. It was out of my price range, but it's right on the beach, and i think it's in the sayville area. I'm not sure if you're set on the hamptons/montauk area.

Hi,
Good Guess! We went to Atlantica, the Montauk Light House, Montauk Yacht Club, and Gurneys,. Today we are checking out Coindre Hall after going to the Oyster Fest. E-mail me if you have any specific questions about the places we visited.

I have a wedding next month at the Bourne Mansion. It looks beautiful but isn't the beach scene that you want.

I'm looking for the same thing as you...it's not easy to find.

You can try Venetian Yatch Club or Chateau Le Mer - they are on the water but not by the beach.

Giorgios - not right on the beach, but they do have a private beach that you can use for pictures.

Louis XVI - this place is exactly what I'm looking for on the inside, but it's not on the beach either. But does have a nice ocean view.

I've heard that Crest Hollow and The Cresent Beach club are also pretty, but I don't know much about them.

There's also the Surf Club which is on the beach but I'm not sure what the inside looks like, I can't come across many pictures.

Others on my list: (near water or beach)
Greentree Country Club
VIP Country Club
Glen Island
Marina Del Rey

You can find pics of the Surf Club on their website The Surf Club

And The Crescent is in Bayville, out west on the north shore.

there's a hall owned by the village of shoreham that's perched on a bluff on sound beach. there are stairs down to the sand and long, white balcony that wraps around the back and side. The inside is clean and sunny, not the grandeur of some hotel locations, but pretty. i think it's a $3300 site fee and lessings is one of their preferred off-premises caterers. i went to a wedding there and it was one of the prettiest i've been to.

check it out

My RH is right on the water...no beach though...you can get married outside on the deck...there is a bed and breakfast right across the street.

i'm from the westchester area... the surf club is really nice, has amazing food and a great view... the beach club on the end of that strip is called Beckwith Pointe... their chef is out of this world... amazing menu options and their location has to be the best. The staff is very friendly & helpful too. www.beckwithpointe.com
