Is there such a thing as Mother of the Bride Brain?

Because I think that my mom has it...I came back to LI tonight and I commute by train everywhere. So when I got on Metro North, I called and said, 'Once I get into Manhattan, I'll call you from LIRR.'

She paused and said, 'But why would you be going into the city?'

I didn't even know how to respond, 'Because I come into Grand Central - and then I go to Penn. That's how I always get home.'
