is there such thing.....

as seeing to many wedding halls?

i didn't even really see that many but i feel SO OVERWHELMED and id ont even know where to begin, or even what i want anymore...i just want a perfect wedding and the perfect place and im not just finding it

i wish i could take a lil bit from each place and put it into one and have the best wedding ever

ugh im so helpless

my fh has been so good too through this whole thing, coming w/ me to all the place and i could see him getting frusterated that i haven't picked the place

am i wrong to feel this way???

I say take a break from looking...clear your head...and evaluate what sorts of things you bothw ant for sure...do you want water? do you want gardens? That was the big deciding factor for us...

I felt the same way right up until I found my hall. As I was sitting there listening to the BM talk, she just kept on telling us about what they offered and it was exactly what we both wanted. If that hall didnt work out, I was just going to take a break.

What are you both looking for in a hall? Maybe your fellow 09 ers can help? Im sure with the amount of halls we all saw, we could help find you a hall

I would say stop stressing so much about finding the perfect hall and just enjoy looking and seeing things. You'll know when you find the right one.

I completly agree..What do you picture for your wedding??? Make a list of things that you NEED your place to have and hopefully that can help you narrow down your choice of places. Don't worry you will find a place that you absolutley love!

i would like water near by if possible on the water

maybe??? but i dont think so... cuz as long have you have your own notes on each place along with picture... i dont think you can get as over whelmed... even tho it might not work.. lol

Have you looked at crescent beach club? that is right on the beach I think...also, atlantic is on the beach but i think it is really pricey...

Well what if you took pics at a garden and had your reception at CLM?? That way you will have pics with both?

It does get to you after awhile. Because you hear the same speech with all of them; they sound so pre-recorded. I just wanted to get the process out the way so I buckled down and knocked it out within 2 weeks time. Another factor was I live in Bklyn and I didn't want to go back and forth.

im in the same boat as you! we def want and like the same things, and on top of it i can never make up my mind as it is..... so choosing a rh is gonna make me go crazy lol. i know i want a rh on the water and i believe you do too, so why not choose a hall on the water and take pics at a nice park or garden and then stil l be able to take pics on the water/beach. we are looking at some more rh's this weekend.

I feel like i was in your boat not too long ago. I looked at 11 places and i was soooo overwhelmed. I agree w/ jayla all the speeches started sounding the same. i just wanted to get that feeling of my perfect place. I think that you should just take a week to clear your mind. That's what i did and then after a week see which place is still on the top of your mind. I also recommend that for those places that you are still thinking about after not seeing anything for a few days go back to them. I went to my top two places again, and honestly on that second trip the one shined more then the other and that was that! HTH!!!
