I ordered my invitations and I put my response date for 8 weeks before the wedding which is May 13. I needed to give plenty of time because I have people from all over the world invited (Czech Republic & other European countriess) Do you think that sending the invites out in late March is too early? Or should I re-order my response cards and put a later response date?
Send invites out: Mid March Response Date: May 13

Re: Is this a big deal?
do whatis easier for you....if you have a lot of OOT tehey need to make reservations either way so I don;'t think itwill hurt to have an early RSVP date

Yes, I know the invites have to go out before the RSVP date. I am saying that my response date is 8 weeks before my July 8th wedding which is May 13.

Re: Is this a big deal?
I have a similar issue than you. My family is coming from Europe also. I told them ahead of time so they could get the ball rolling since the coordination is hard to do.
Meanwhile you do need a number of confirmation asap otherwise, how are you going to do your planning?
FM if you want more info.

Re: Is this a big deal?
It may be a little early ...did you send out STDS? My wedding is July 1st and we have primarily OOTers, our RSVP is May 29th, we were planning on mailing out the 3rd week of April.

I think it's fine! Some RSVP's come in a little late anyway so you'll be ok
