FH and I met with the first florist today. They are very reputable here and are the florist recommended to us by the RH. We aren't getting centerpeices with them so we only needed bo-k's and bouts. This was our totals: My Bo-k (cascading) 5 BM bo-k's 1 toss bo-k 1 FG Bo-k or kissing ball 6 corsages 9 Bouts + a few free extras $995
I didn't think that was too bad, but i wanted to see what others thought. FH was floored.

Hmmm...honestly to me that seems a big high for just that. You're getting 1 more bout, 1 more corsage, and a FG ball than me, and I'm getting 1 additional BM bouq than you, and there's a diff of about 400 dollars apples to apples (i'm not including the additional 200 we were charged for petals for all the tables, dais, cake table, and setup of our supplied CPs).
I would recommend Burton's. They'll be able to beat that price by far. Also local nurseries. I don't know where you're located, but Hitherbrook Nursery in St. James was also far more reasonable than that price.

They is a bit high. I looked over my contract and it's no where near that price for personals.
You should check out some more places.

mostly white roses and blue delphiniums. some other things thrown in there too but nothing crazy or exotic or off season.

Burton's is doing my dress so i guess i should consider them. i just wanted something like the flowers to be local for safe, prompt and easy delivery.
