Is this a good price?
I went for a free consultation for invisalign and the doctor said it costs $6500. I almost fell out of my chair! Is this right or is this on the high end? Thanks.

I hear that its decent does your insurance cover any of it cause my friend paid only $1000 after insurance
well clear braces run around 5-6k so that doesnt sount too high of a price for something that you cant tell are on
I just went two weeks ago for a consultation and mine (both top and bottom) will be $5,300 (and I'll have them for about 14 months). I think it also depends on how long you'll have them since you get new braces every 2 weeks. So the cost will be more the longer you have them.
i think that's a bit high.
definitely keep shopping around. the prices differ from place to place. however, i don't think it's totally unheard of to charge that much. it usually costs 20-50%more than regular braces.
My dentist said about 5K I think. Still thought it was too much.
My sister (MOH) used to work for an orthodontist and she said that it is normally like $5000.00 dollars. HTH
I have clear braces which cost me $5300. Invisalign is more expensive than braces, but some orthodontists carry the generic invisalign which is much cheaper. My coworker paid around $5000...but in the city ive heard of ppl paying closer to $6k
I paid over 6,000 for clear braces. So I don't think that's too bad.
My friend paid $5,000 even in the city. Her teeth were literally in horrible shape before and they look beautiful now. If you want, I can get the info for her ortho for you.
I can recommend a doctor who does them, hes awesome and located in Bethpage. He actually worked the price a lil bit with my FH. He took his entire staff to Vegas for a seminar, so he should be back by the week. I think FH paid 5400 but his ins paid for half. of that
