I think its a good price, the only reason I think its a little high is because all of your cp's are low.

I think that sounds pretty good. I'd try to get them to knock off a couple hundred more. Maybe like $3300?

I would call a few more florists and ask for the same things and see what quote they give you. Thats how i was able to save money on my dress

its hard to say without knowing what flowers they are using... and i have no clue how much it costs for pumpkins either

Well I'm going back on Thrusday to see my sample so I'll be able to show you what flowers are being used.

and I am also going to Flowers by Gina on friday so I'll be able to compare prices.

I thought $100 per centerpiece is a little expensive since they are low, but I'm not sure about the pumpkin cost either.

i agree - you can definitely get them lower than that - especially since they are low centerpieces. i'm paying $4000 for MUCH more than that.

OMG, Christina- what time are you going at? Me and FH are going to meet up with her at 7:30pm...maybe we'll bump into each other!! :))))

ETA: I think it's a lot for low centerpieces. I would definitely still look at other florists.

anyone else have any opinions on if it's too high or just right?

Re: Is this a good price?!

sounds a little high but they also have to carve out the pumpkins...so maybe that is taken into consideration?? it doesn't seem too bad though.

but price around, you have a ton of time so compare about 5-6 vendors and see who is the best price. now that you have one quote you can use it as leverage.

I dont think it should be that much work to carve out pumpkins lol

but I am definetly going to other florists to see!

Re: Is this a good price?!

try calling burtons, it should be less

Re: Is this a good price?!

I agree with trying Burtons. I went for two quotes before Burtons and they quoted me $2000 less than the other places. To me that is a HUGE difference. He told me he can create anything I want. You still have a lot of time so I would definitely shop around. Now that you know what you want, you can negotiate the price. If you really love the first place, go back and tell them the other quotes you got. Hopefully, they will come down in price. $100 does seem like a lot for low CPs.

I think that it is high. Try getting quotes from Designs by Rose, Burtons, and Flowers and Designs by Gina.
