Is This A Good Price For Custom Ring?

Hi guys, for those who had their ring made, does this sound good for an 5mm size 4 ring?

White gold:
$ 170 for 14k white gold
$ 300-400 to hand engrave the design on 1/3 of the ring.

Total: $570

Platinum:
$ 825
$ 300-400 to hand engrave the design on 1/3 of the ring.

Total: $1225

mine was custom and cost $3k. it is platinum with 0.5 crts. diamonds going 1/2 way around and carved design over the entire band.

so, yes i think that's a great price!
