Hey Ladies Can someone tell me if this is a good deal? FH and I didn't want to spend more then $3500-$4000 but have a big wedding party so asked for the bouquets to be a little bit smaller then the usually humongo ones.
I thought bc we were asking for smaller bouquets we could save more???

ummm, it sounds high to me
my quote was just a little bit more than yours
Bride bok with peonies 7 BM boks 7 GM bots 2 mini boks for moms 10 tall HUGE CPs- lots of roses 2 tall trees for ceremony 8 CPs & 8 pedestals for down the aisle crystal curtain for ceremony
I am getting less CPs than you but mine are seriously huge and im getting a lot more ceremony stuff
i would look around...and would highly rec dana from stylish events if you want another quote...they gave me the best price and beat burt0ns prices

I would say get atleast 2 other quotes.
I was quoted one place 3700 and another place 4800 for:
Bride Bok-big w orchids, roses and callalillies 7 BM boks callilies, hydrangeas and orchids 7 groomsmen flowers 3 junior BM boks smaller version of BM boks 2 corsages for mothers flower girls petals 15 high centerpieces with hanging crystals, orchids, lillies, roses
So def shop around. Im still looking myself.

which florist is this with? i got basically this and a little more for $4000 even after a ton of negotiations and im paying cash so no tax. - Flowers by Brian - i worked with Joseph and he was amazing!

I think that sounds a little high as well....I would get at least one other qoute... I'm paying $3,000 for Bridal bouquet (5 swaroski crystal embellishments and wrap in a crystal band) Throwaway Grooms flower 6 bm bouquets 2 small bouquets for moms 2 corsages for grandmas 8 boutineers 6 low cp 6 high cp petals for aisle
they added the flowers for our table
Bayview Florist and Montage... Personally I think they're outstanding. If you're getting another qoute I'd check them out.

It sounds a little high. What kind of flowers are you using? If they are flowers out of season then it's more expensive. We saved on flowers by using 1 large callililli for each BM instead of a Bo-K, so that's an idea to save. Also, high centerpieces are more expensive then low centerpieces.
Like a PP said, I would get a couple more quotes. Then if you like the first one the best you can always go back and neg a little and show what other places offered.

Hi ladies
Thanks, now I feel more confident in trying to negotiate.
I actually forgot to mention that the cost included a centerpiece for our dias (is that what the bride/groom table is called) and she is decking out the cake. We are doing an old hollywood glamour theme so we are incorporating feathers and pearls into everything....
I'm deff going to look at FBB, Flower Barn and James Anthony.

Seems about average when I broke it down. You have 18 large centerpieces... so I estimated $175 each, which might be on the high side.. but just a guess... and I came up with 3150. Then I figured in individual prices for everything else and I came to the 4500 range. You can definitely use this quote as a starting point to get the pricing down,

That seems kind of high to me. I am paying 1800 for
18 high or low centerpieces (same price for both) 1 brides bouquet 1 MOH bouquet 7 BM Bouquets 2 FG baskets 1 Throw away Bouquet 3 Mothers corsages 2 Father boutineers 1 Groom boutineer 7 GM boutineers Flowers for the cake
