I like an invitation from Costo. It would be $426 for 100 invites (including envelopes, reception card and response set).
I ordered a sample and while it's very simple I really like the quality. The paper is very heavy and I ordered some other samples from Costo and David's bridal and I feel like this one has the best quality.
Does anyone think I can do better by going to an actual invitation business in LI? I thought my best best for a good mix of high quality and low price would be an online company. Any thoughts?

i paid around that amount for everything as well, on good quality paper, so i think it is about right. but look around so you get some piece of mind... have you tried looking through invitation books at like, a party city or somewhere like that?

I paid about $310.00 for 100 invites, response cards, pre-printed return envelopes, inside envelope, self seal envelopes with our return address printed in back. I went to Have You Heard in Bellmore. They are a LIW vendor and what i like is I created my invite on their website then went into the store to see the actual quality of the card. It's very basic but I love them.

I think that's a very good price for decent quality invitations! I shopped around quite a bit and really wanted something nice and mine ended up being about $400 for 125 invites. I ordered mine through a store called A Lion in the Sun in Park Slope. If you've found ones you really love, I don't think it's worth $50 that you might save by trying to shop around more for it. That's just MHO.

That does not sound too bad. I've been ordering samples from all over as well and so far my Costco/Evite sample has been the best quality for the money.

That's a really good price and Costco does have a good selection of invites. Also, check out Tammy at Marry Me Designs!!! Her work is amazing.
