so i am trying to figure out the limo situation...we are getting married at the reception place (atlantis in riverhead). i was thinking that me and my girls can take a limo there and my fi and the guys can drive themselves there (this way their cars are there already bc the guys would be driving my girls home) and we would have a town car pick fi and i up after the wedding and take us to a local hotel...is it OK to just have a limo for the girls? i def need one for my bc my dress is too big for our cars. but limos are cheaper than i thought and i could have the guys go in a limo, but then how does everyone get home afterwoulds? what do you think? thanks~Lacey

Lacey, I think your original idea is fine, otherwise it does create a logistics problem afterwards (w/ no cars). Also like you said the girls definitely need a limo b/c of your dress & such....sounds fine!

That's exactly what we're doing, and also getting married at the RH. Except your FH shouldn't drive himself bc then someone will have to take his car home since he'll be in the limo with you afterwards. We're having one of our GM drive FH to the hall.

thanks girls! just wanted to make sure i was making with the sense with my original plan. and yeah, i think fi will hitch a ride with his parents and his brother (his BM). this is good, limos are cheaper than i thought...leaves me with $200 extra in my budget...maybe i can go for the $400 steal drummer my dj offers for CH!!! ~lacey
