I went to the wedding expo at the marriot last night and recieved a call today from a company called cook world usa saying I won a 3 night trip to my choice of 20 diff locations and some other things but I would have to show up w/ my fh to the sheridan in plainview tom night to claim the prize she assured me its not a time share and we wouldnt have to buy anything but it sounds sketchy to me and I really dont wanna drag my fh there if its a scam . Has anyone had any experience with something like this
Thanks

Definitely seems a little sketchy to me but you never know. Did you try to google it? Sometimes people post things about that. Might be worth a try. HTH!!

do a searchf or them on here... I think it's semi-legit... other girls have gotten this cal and I think a 2010'er went and they wanted her to buy tons of stuff first if I'm remembering correctly

hmm sounds like a scam. i got a call like that too but they did not want me to go anywhere...they called, told me that, then told me i won a magazine subscription but then said i needed to pay for an additional magazine subscription in order to claim the prize...seemed shady to me so i said no thanks try google-ing it and seeing if the company comes up

It's not really a scam, but they will try to make you sit through a presentation and sell you stuff before hooking you up. I 'won' this also from the Bridal Expo. And the locations are bleh- there's definitely not 20.

OMG me too I don't think it's a scam cause the vendor was at the expo. But I definitely believe it's there way of trying to get you to book
