IS THIS A SCAM??? Sorry long post....

hey girls. 2 weeks ago, I went to a bridal expo. Today 21st century todays bride called to tell me that i have been selected as a winner of a 3 day / 2 night hotel accommodations package for two adults, all-inclusive in locations such as Orlando, Florida, Vegas, etc. All together, there are 15 diff locations I can go to.

theI'm kinda leery though. We both have to go listen to a 1.5 hour speach about 20 minutes from where I live. We have to fill out a survey about thier dinnerware and such and are not required to buy anything.

This sounds like one of those too good to be true things. Has anyone heard of them? I'm afraid i would get there and it woud be horrible or something. They also promised to feed us after we check out their cookware and give them our opinion.

here is there website.

Thanks!!

Yes...Royal Prestige/21st Century Brides is not legit. Do a search on the boards. Good luck.

Thanks, I thought so. It saved me a tank of gas to drive down and check it out.
I hope other brides don't fall for it.

You're welcome...and I'm sorry. I know it's exciting to win stuff.

Smart girl by checking before you went down there...a lot of others didn't and were 'tortured' by the presentations.

Oh my! I received a message from them and called them back. I made an appointment for tomorrow. But my fiance was also skeptical, so I checked it out here. Thanks!!!! Has anyone actually gone to these presentations?

I got the call too. I never called them back. I'm paranoid of everything. One day I'm actually going to win something and I'll think it's a scam then too.

You do get the trip and a certificate worth $500. BUT you have to sit through a presentation of their pots and pans and want you to buy them. You do not have to buy them and still walk out with the free trip and coupon. You have to pay shipping for the coupon stuff you buy. And the destination locations aren't so bad either. I went. Igot the free trip. i wasted one hour on the meeting and had a lot of laughs with the GH at it. For me..... not a waste.

yea we went just to check it out...we were there for 2 hrs and they tried to sell us 3000 pots...we wernt taking them...but if u stay the whole time u get a 2 night hotel stay at select location and a 500 giftcertificate to freegiftsamerica.com which has really crap on the site and u have to pay s&h like about 75 beans.....so i wouldnt go unless u REALLY have nothing better to do and into getting free stuff...

personally we wouldnt do it again

ps our friends bought the pots..i couldnt believe they dd..well anyway when they got home they went on ebay and foundthe pots sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much cheaper they tried to cancel the order and they gave them a hard time....i havent heard the outcome to this yet ill keep u posted

When you fill out the card at the bridal shows they get your number & address. I always put my old disconnected number & my old address. If I want certain vendors I'll contact them...
