I want to order this guestbook, but don't want to leave it on a table because I want to make sure everyone fills it out. I was thinking I could take each page and roll it up and leave one at each place setting and leave pens on the table. Is this a good idea, or will it annoy people? And will the table look too cluttered?
I love those pages too, I wanted to someone incorporate them into my wedding too? I am not sure on how to handle it though.

Re: Is this a stupid idea?
I told my mom I wanted to do this, and gave me a funny look. Then said 'do whatever you want'. So I am guessing she doesn't like it.

Re: Is this a stupid idea?
I could set it up at a small table, but don't really want to, because I think people might not do it then. If I leave it on the place settings, should I attach a little note what to do with them?
Another question- what kind of pens would I use? Regular Bic?

Jenny- you will put a vase on each table? Maybe that is a better idea than one at each setting?

Re: Is this a stupid idea?
Its a nice idea, and I tried to do something like that at my sister's baby shower. I asked everyone to write a letter to the baby or to the parents to be. I figured that EVERYONE would do it right??? I mean what do you do a baby shower but sit and talk and watch someone else open gifts!! Do you know that not even half of the ladies filled it out, even after I asked them a few times. So, what I am saying, is not to expect too many people to fill it out. Maybe a wish bowl would be better. At a wedding, people are doing so much, getting up, dancing, socializing that I do nto think they will spend time filling these out. JMO
Good Luck! Lisa

How big is it? Is there any way you can include it in your invitation? I don't know if many people will fill it out that way, but I really doubt many people will fill it out at the reception. Besides, do you want your crowd up and dancing, or sitting at the table writing stories? I dunno. It seems better suited for a shower.

I do not think it will fit in an invitation.

Great idea Steph - I would love to do something like that but my family is a bunch of maniacs so they'll be too drunk to write anything - if they did write something I'd be afraid to read it

Re: Is this a stupid idea?
I did my own version of these with different love quotes on the bottom and spoke to ALOT of other brides on here on how to present them because I was afraid if I left them on a table in the corner they wouldnt get filled out. Well I wound up putting them on the tables with pens and this poem:
OUR WEDDING GUEST BOOK Our guest book will be these pages, We'd love to have you sign your name, and write, perhaps, a line or two... by which we may remember you.
Then, when our wedding day has passed, our memories of this day will last. For when we look at it, we'll see, kind words from friends and family!
THEY WERE SUCH A HIT!! I GOT ABOUT 90% OF THEM COMPLETED!! AND THE ANSWERS ARE SOOOOOO GREAT. I just added this to my review that I would HIGHLY recommend doing these!!
